About David Reinecker
David is an Animal Behaviorist,
Professional Dog Trainer and a Certified Specialist in Aggressive Dog Behavior
as well as a member of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies and the
Association of Pet Dog Trainers
David is the creator of
Dog Remedy® a unique
way of training, which combines hand signals, voice commands and holistic
remedies along with human-dog interaction techniques. Over his accomplished
career, David has helped thousands of dog owners nationwide eliminate severe
cases of fear and territorial aggression, hyperactivity, depression and
separation anxiety in their pets.
David Reinecker received his education at
California
State University, Sacramento (1978-1982) and completed additional coursework
in psychology at UCLA (1994).
David specializes in the assessment and rehabilitation of problem dogs, he
possesses a wealth of experience in behavior modification in particular dealing
with dog aggression problems. He acquired part of his training as a Specialist
in Reducing Aggression in Dogs from the late John Fisher, a noted British behaviorist. Most recently, David completed
the Solving Canine Behavior Problems program at
Cornell University,
College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY.
As part of his continuing education he has also completed numerous courses,
seminars and special studies in canine nutrition, spectral and
environmental modification, canine genetics, hyperactivity disorders, stress management, animal
behavior, naturopathy for companion animals, canine communicative and social
behavior, dog behavior assessment and consulting.
David's unique method consists of a caring, gentle approach to training animals
through voice and touch without the use of choke chains or aversion techniques.
It is used to prevent and eliminate behavioral problems in dogs such as:
hyperactivity, separation anxiety, aggression, chewing, digging, barking,
jumping, and more.

and CNN Headline News. A resident dog trainer for the Peter Tilden Show and a
household name among Hollywood's elite, Animal Behaviorist David Reinecker has
utilized his 27 years of experience to transform some of the "top dogs" in
tinsel town from dastardly to delightful, including those cared for by Maria
Shriver, Kirk Douglas, Cristina Ferrare, Billy Blanks and Terry Garr.
Through his company, Dog Remedy®, he has also been getting successful
results involving obedience training and custom fitness programs. David's highly
effective approach to training engages owners in the actual training process;

David is a member of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies (CCBS), the
Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Humane Society of the United
States (HSUS). He has been working professionally with dogs for 27 years and he currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
About Tatiana Reinecker
Tatiana is the first person you will speak with when calling our office. She has been providing dog care and behavior counseling to Dog Remedy's clients for the past 11 years. Tatiana is currently working towards obtaining her M.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior and she is a Certified Pet Care Technician through the Pet Care Services Association. Upon completion of her graduate studies, she will pursue certification as an Associate Applied Animal Behaviorist (A.C.A.A.B.) from the Animal Behavior Society.
