Dear David:

Doneil and I want to express to you our gratitude for all that you have done for Buster (and us) since you began working with him in February. Because of your program and patience, we are now able to do the “social” things with Buster that makes him a pleasure to have around. When you first came to us, Buster was nearly a year old and extremely anti-social. He was aggressive around dogs and other people, even when they would walk past our house. Having him encounter another dog on a walk was a disaster. It took a very strong person to try and control him. We wanted to take him everyplace, but because of his behavior, we always had to think twice about whether to take him out at all. What a change in the time you’ve been working with him! He’s walking next to us, he sits (and sort of stays), he doesn’t jump up on people who come into the house, but most importantly, you have been able to socialize him to the extent that Doneil actually took him to Manhattan Beach last week and walked him along the bike path with other people and dogs around and they both came back happy and refreshed. A far cry from dragging back from a walk, arms exhausted (ours) and neck chaffed (his) from all the pulling and tugging. And the best part is that his personality hasn’t changed. He’s happy and can’t wait to put his gentle leader on and go outside. He enjoys his weekly runs with you and he’s rounding into great shape. We can’t wait to see what shape he’ll be in after a week as your houseguest at the end of April, but we have no doubt that he’ll love the time with you. We could not be any happier with Buster’s progress. Keep up the good work. If there is anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sincerely, Andrew Weissman
